Why join GSATVAI ?

  • In developing a statewide ATV organization, we will provide linkages for all members to get together. Today we do not have an effective media to share club information such as events or rides with other areas. The statewide organization would provide an electronic page for special events. (Our web site is http://gemstateatv.org/ we are also investigating an umbrella insurance policy that would cover a specific number of events for clubs interested in joining our organization)
  • Our statewide organization already has Idaho State Certified ATV Safety Instructors as well as Tread Lightly! Master Tread Trainers. (our thought is to share that knowledge and expand throughout the state of Idaho)
  • The statewide organization will provide many voices with the same interest. This will make our Legislative efforts easier and more effective. (specifically focusing on ATV issues with the ability to earmark ATV dollars to ATV projects)
  • With more voices we can shape future riding conditions within Idaho. United States Forest Service, Fish and Game, Bureau of Land Management, and Private Land Owners listen to public input and with a statewide association we can generate more responses and more effective comments. (We are developing a set of beta talking points which are setup in 3 minute talking segments, this way a group can discuss their issues i.e. speaker one is selected to talk and takes first segment, speaker two takes next point until all points have been delivered to your audience)
  • We have developed a cooperative working relationship with Idaho Parks & Recreation. Working together as an association we will be able to develop and present a consistent message. (By having a statewide organization speak for the ATVing community will simplify decisions and actions required by Park and Recreation)
  • GSATVAI Leadership already has Legislative background and know how. This will expedite our initiatives and make sure they are in front of the right people at the right time.
  • By joining Gem State ATV Association of Idaho you will be supporting our future initiative in developing our own legal action fund.
